Express Shipping

  • Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). However, in rare cases, delivery may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances.

Pre-installation Checks We recommend conducting pre-installation checks before installing your engine or transmission. These checks are crucial for efficient performance and enhanced durability.

Installation Guidelines

  • Turbochargers and superchargers are not part of the long block and are not warranted unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Inspect used engines and transmissions for physical damage upon delivery. Note any damage and contact us immediately. Do not use the merchandise before contacting us.
  • Inspect all gaskets and seals and replace them if needed. An engine that overheats or blows a head gasket will void the warranty.
  • Turn the crankshaft fully before installation. Contact us if it doesn’t turn over.
  • For timing belt engines, replace the timing belt, tensioner, and related components before installation. These are not warranted and should be inspected thoroughly if the timing cover can be easily removed.
  • Change the engine oil and replace the oil filter.
  • Add new antifreeze/coolant.
  • Reseal your lower oil pan.
  • Install these parts for optimum performance: water pump, thermostat, rear main seal, new belts and hoses, new air and fuel filters, new spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, front crank seal, and a new radiator (highly recommended).

Warranty Terms At Global Marine Engines LLC, we stand behind the quality of our used engines with a limited warranty covering engine assembly only, including blocks, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and other internal components. Auxiliary items such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, and hoses may accompany the engine for protection during shipment but are not covered under our warranty.

Please inspect all parts promptly upon receipt and contact our support line at 1-800-518-9776 to report any discrepancies. To ensure a smooth warranty claim process, avoid declining shipments as it may trigger order cancellation terms.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders canceled after 24 hours of payment may incur a 20% restocking fee and two-way shipping costs if the merchandise has shipped. We may also charge for labor, freight, pallets, bubble wrap, straps, and other associated costs incurred in processing the order.

Returns and Replacements

  • We reimburse all shipping costs for warranty-certified returns. However, please allow us the chance to address any issues before requesting a replacement or refund. Denying a replacement or requesting a refund without this opportunity may result in a 20% restocking fee.

Compatibility and Verification

  • While we use VIN compatibility tools, additional information may sometimes be required. Customers providing false information or ordering the wrong engine may bear two-way shipping costs and price differences for replacement orders.

Claim Process

  • Customers have 30 days from delivery to report any issues with replaced engines or transmissions. Keeping a problematic item beyond this period may limit our ability to approve the claim.

Void Warranty Conditions

  • Our warranty may be void if pre-installation checks are not followed, diagnostic reports are not provided by ASE-certified mechanics, engines are not installed within 90 days of purchase, engines are damaged due to accidents or misuse, repairs are made without our confirmation, or merchandise is modified or not returned in its original condition.

Important Notes

  • Our warranty is non-transferable.
  • Labor charges are not covered unless specifically stated.

Please note that all electrical/electronic issues, oil leaks due to failed seals or gaskets, and damages resulting from overheating or lack of lubrication are not covered under warranty.
